Administrative Assistant

PEAK Psychological Wellness, PLLC is a thriving group practice that provides culturally responsive individual therapy and psychological evaluation in the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle, WA. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant starting at 15 hours a week, 5 days a week, who will report to the Director and Owner of the practice, Dr. Sophia Rath. The practice is expected to expand in the next year and the preferred candidate will be able to grow with the practice.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant include:

  • Commitment of 15 hours a week with the strong likelihood of increased hours as the practice grows. 

  • Answer phone calls and emails from prospective clients.

  • Provide administrative assistance for new clients.

  • Provide billing assistance to clients and clinicians. 

  • Attend mandatory weekly team meetings with staff and Director.

  • Assist Director as needed in other administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Align with the values of PEAK Psychological Wellness, PLLC.

  • 3-5 years of related work experience.

  • Access to reliable transportation for in-office duties + Consistent access to phone, computer, and reliable internet connection for remote duties.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills. Detail-oriented.

  • Works well independently and in group settings. 

  • Strong MS Office skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Enjoy learning new skills and mastering new technology.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in medical or mental health clinic settings.

  • Familiarity with SimplePractice EMR.

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (formerly GSuite).

  • Familiarity with HIPAA.

  • Experience with billing health insurance.
