Hi, I'm Annabelle!

 

I am currently at Antioch University Seattle pursuing a Psy.D in clinical psychology. I'm not quite sure what I want to do after I receive my doctoral degree, but I am so excited to serve the community and continue expanding my learning as part of the PEAK team.

I have been a psychometrist at PEAK for two years now. Psychometrist is the fancy job title for the individual that administers the activities and measures used during psychological testing! As an LMHCA, I am beginning to see individual clients for psychotherapy. I have also spent the past two years utilizing trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) with youth clients. For adolescents that have experienced trauma, I help them navigate how it impacts their daily life and current functioning.

I'm a strong believer in the mentality that someone would go to the doctor for a fractured ankle so why shouldn't someone seek out care and help for their mental health? As a proud Filipina American, I am aware of the mental health stigma in my community and I strive to overcome that stigma and allow everyone the time and space to process and work through whatever mental struggles they are facing.

In my free time I love to read, watch movies at the movie theater, hang out with my family and my partner, and go to live music concerts in Seattle!
