Hello, my name is Brandon! 

 

I was born and raised in Southern California, and moved to Texas to support my aunt and her family. In 2022, I graduated from the University of San Francisco, CA where I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology.  Although 2021 was a tough year for many of us, it did give me the opportunity to reflect and made me realized that I no longer wanted to be in the medical field and instead wanted to dedicate myself to mental health. I am currently at Antioch University Seattle pursuing a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology! I am currently interested in working in a variety of fields ranging from forensics to adolescents, and although I am unsure where I might wind up, I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow! 

 

As a proud Indigenous/Latine American, I value the intersectionality of those I work with and am aware of the mental health stigma that continues to exist in our communities. Sometimes I like to say that "it's okay not not be okay. It's okay to be vulnerable. It's a reminder that we're human." I strive to provide the time and space for others to explore their mental health. 

 

When I'm not working or in school, I enjoy playing board games, eating at new places, and trying out new hobbies!
