I’m a bilingual graduate-level therapist, fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My work is grounded in culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and client-centered care.
Growing up in Taiwan and spending most of my adult life in the US has shaped my understanding of how living between cultures, languages, identities, and expectations can influence a person’s experience. I recognize that these experiences can bring both pride and resilience, alongside complex questions of belonging, family responsibility, acculturation, loss, and differing expectations. Whether you are exploring identity, navigating family or cultural expectations, exploring your neurodivergent identity or support needs, adjusting to change, grieving a loss, or seeking deeper connections in your life, I aim to offer a space where every part of your story is welcome.
My approach is integrative and relational, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We may identify triggers and recurring patterns, build skills for managing difficult emotions, make room for different parts of yourself, and clarify the values that can guide you forward.
I have a PhD in music and bring more than 15 years of experience across K–12 education, higher education, and the tech industry, supporting individuals and families through academic, personal, and professional transitions. My path has strengthened my appreciation for creativity, reflection, resilience, and connection. I believe therapy can be a place where you do not have to perform, prove, or have everything figured out. You can simply show up as you are.
