PEAK Psychological Wellness is accepting applications for

one graduate counseling intern beginning Fall 2026.

 

PEAK is a group private practice providing culturally responsive psychotherapy to adolescents and adults throughout Washington. We are committed to creating an inclusive, affirming environment for clients and clinicians and welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.

This internship is intended for graduate students enrolled in a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program who are interested in training in a private practice setting. The internship begins in Fall 2026 and requires a 12-month commitment.

Qualifications

​

​Applicants should:

• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and openness to feedback.

• Have an interest in working with adolescents and adults.

• Align with the values of PEAK Psychological Wellness.

• Evening and/or weekend availability preferred.​

Responsibilities

 ​

• Provide outpatient psychotherapy through both in-person and telehealth under supervision.

• Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.

• Participate in weekly individual supervision and bi-weekly group consultation.

• Engage in case conceptualization and treatment planning.

• Maintain approximately 15–20 placement hours per week, depending on university requirements.

• Multicultural stressors

Our work is relational and process-oriented and emphasizes culturally responsive, neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQ+ affirming, and social justice-informed care.

​

Supervision includes case consultation, documentation and treatment planning, ethical decision-making, and clinical case conceptualization.
